Techflex’s week at the (September 16th-20th) 2014 Automechanika was amazing. We met so many interesting and creative people that we are really glad we were there. This show had a lot of fun demonstrations and great European cars that my NJ eyes never got tired of seeing. The Mercedes Unimogs exhibited outside were among my favorite. These monsters can’t help but impress.
One of the interesting innovators at the show was a company that converts gas powered cars into all electric power. They displayed their all electric powered Porsche 365 Speedster. I am guessing it’s a 1959 and in mint condition. If you didn’t look under the hood you would never know it’s not stock. www.turn-e.de
One of the best Techflex’s applications at the show was on the Zero DS all electric motorcycle. This clean and easy to identify use of F6® orange for the high voltage cables will leave no doubt that these cables should be handled with care. This hi-visibility orange and industry standard for high voltage cables was more clearly displayed on this bike than on any other electric vehicle I saw at the show. It was a real thing of beauty.
