The California Polytechnic State University, FSAE Team participated in the Formula SAE Competition and have shared their 2015 car with us! Formula SAE is a student design competition started in 1978 by SAE International (Society of Automotive Engineers). Students work together in teams to design and create a formula style racecar, which is then evaluated and judged based on different criteria. Although students can receive tips and critiques from experienced engineers, they must build the car completely on their own!
The team purchased some wiring tools and accessories from our friends at WireCare® who have graciously shared these photos with us. To make the construction process easier the team created their own Deutsch Connectors kits that includes everything from connectors to the corresponding pins and wedgelocks. When it comes to a secure and reliable connector Deutsch products are the way to go!
