Wireharness.com had the pleasure of attending the 75th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally from August 3rd -9th 2015. We have a great group of motorcycles to share with you over the coming weeks! We couldn’t help but start by sharing this custom creation with you!
Feast your eyes upon the bike crowned ‘Best Bike’ at Sturgis this year! There is no doubt that this custom motorcycle lives up to its title. John Shope, founder of Dirty Bird Concepts is responsible for this beauty. He took some time to visit with Techflex® and even pose for a few pictures with Techflex® sales rep Driscoll Bowlby.
John’s hard work on this 2009 Harley Road King makes is stand out above the crowd for sure! This bike is covered in 24k gold, features a 30” front tire, 107” V-twin, and an air ride suspension. This gold bike is estimated to be worth more than $100,000!
Can you believe this work of art uses Techflex® Braided Sleeving and Shrinkflex Heatshrink? The bike uses ¼” Brass Sleeving on the spark plug wires to keep up that golden shine throughout the wiring. The sleeving is nicely terminated with Ultra Clear PVC Heatshrink.
